What Types of Annuities are there?
Annuities are available in three forms: Variable, Fixed, and Indexed.
Integrity Financial offers only fixed and indexed
annuities.
Variable Annuities use the stock and bond market to
drive the account values. The performance on Variable Annuities will vary with
the ups and downs in the stock and bond markets.
Fixed Annuities provide
guaranteed performance with positive growth that you can rely on. The
insurance company guarantees that it will fulfill its obligations to each of its
annuity owners. The guarantee is backed by the full faith and credit of the
insurance company offering the annuity.
Fixed Annuities
With a Fixed Annuity, your money grows at a predictable rate of return
and you will never earn less than the Guaranteed Minimum Interest Rate. There is
no fluctuation of principal. You also have the ability to earn more with higher
interest rates if your premium falls within certain dollar amount to help with
any savings gap.
A fixed annuity can also provide you with income
guaranteed to last a lifetime. You can customize the income stream to fit your
personal needs. For instance, you can:
- Receive income for life
- A specific time period (such as 10 or 20 years)
- Or create a payout schedule based on two lives (you and your spouse).
The income stream is based on a fixed interest rate to provide steady and
dependable payments.
With a fixed annuity, the money grows tax-deferred
and is distributed in the "pay-out" phase when the deferred investment is
converted into an income stream.
